As the principal at Saint John’s, I constantly look for ways to improve our school. The school is on my mind, both before the day begins, and long after the school day is over for the students. I’m looking at how to help students be more successful and how to manage expectations from students, teachers, and parents. Throughout my day, I have opportunities to meet with the teachers, supervise lunch and recess, attend meetings, return emails, market, fundraise, collaborate and discuss goals for the school. There is no typical day, and that is why I love my job at Saint John’s. The best days are when students brighten my day. Last week a student showed up in my office with a bear in a mask!
More importantly, we have amazing parents, parishioners, and a community who are all so generous and supportive of our school. On Friday, our community went above and beyond to reach our goal of $10,000 in 10 days! We raised $13,895! For those of you who generously contributed your resources to make this happen, we thank you. I’m excited to see many of you in-person at the Gala, this Friday, to continue to support our school and students!

HAVE YOU BEEN CONTACTED YET?
In the next couple of weeks, your assigned Parent Ambassador will be contacting you! This is a great opportunity to meet with other parents as we grow our community! The Parent Ambassador, for each grade level, will share their unique perspective as parents and family members of current students, or students with children. The Ambassadors are champions of our school and are dedicated to improving the quality of the Saint John's experience for students and their families. This is a great time to plan fun events and socialize with other Saint John's families.
