Dear Saint John's Families,

I have said it many times, but I cannot stress enough, how through all the challenges of the past few years, Saint John’s students, families and staff have remained positive and strong.  Students have worked so hard this year and have shown progress in all areas. We have much to celebrate. Last week was exciting at Saint John’s.  For the first time in a long time, I was able to see a glimpse of what truly makes this community special. We held a successful Culver’s Night, Principal at Sky Zone, and, of course, the ever favorite - Olympic day. Our students and community were excited to be with each other and did a wonderful job with the safety protocols.  Finally, it is hard to believe, but this is the last full week for our 8 ^th graders.  One more week to continue their leadership in this school, before soaring to high school.

This week is a busy week in end-of-year athletics:
> Tennis (3:30 and 4:30 P.M. Tuesday)
> CAA Golf Tournament: 11:00 A.M.-3:00 P.M. Wednesday at Gem Lake Golf Course
> Baseball Playoffs: 4:15 P.M. Thursday at Eli No. 2 (Spooner Park)
> CAA Track Meet: 8:45 A.M.-2:00 P.M. Saturday at Hill Murray

Thank you so much for your support of Saint John's Athletics. If you have a student who participated in soccer, hockey, baseball, track, golf or tennis this year, our Athletics Awards will be at 8:00 A.M. Wednesday, May 26, in the gym. Parents are welcome to join their student(s), keeping in mind we are still fully masked when in the school.

KINDERGARTEN ENROLLMENT:
Do you or someone you know have a kindergartener starting school next school year?  If the answer is YES, we need your help in getting the word out about registering at Saint John's.  We need to fill our second kindergarten class to continue in the growth of our school.  ALL enrollment should be completed as soon as possible. Please have neighbors, friends, relatives go to our website to register as soon as possible HERE.

REMINDERS AND CALENDAR:

MOVIE NIGHTS RETURN:
We will be starting movie nights at Saint John’s School on the 1st Wednesday of each month June thru September 1, 2021.  The 1st Movie Night will be on June 2 and will include free live entertainment, pizza, ice cream and other surprises for families and kids - these movie nights are open to all.   

TASTE of SUMMER:
We have scheduled our Taste of Summer for July 21, 2021 at 6:30 p.m at Saint John’s School.  This event is for parents and the community.  We will be able to connect and sample beer and wine.

SUMMER EAGLE CLUB:
Our summer care program is available to all children ages 3 to 12. Eagle Club is offered from 7:00 AM to 5:00 PM daily. We keep children engaged and entertained all summer long through activities like arts and crafts, games, science/STEM, reading and math, nature and, of course, field trips once a week. We maintain and grow a vegetable garden, as well as spend lots of time outside playing and enjoying the nice weather.  Summer registration CLICK HERE.  Please contact Tayler Smith with questions.
