ARE YOU READY!?:
We are off and running! Here are the details for the 2022 St. John’s Marathon on October 1st.
Our Marathon this year is at Central Park in Roseville and is hosted by the Knights of Columbus. We will have a pavilion that will be labeled with our school banner. The best way to get to our meeting spot is to enter the park from Victoria Street. There are two parking lots as well as street parking. Our pavilion is the Lion’s Shelter (map) located not far from the parking lots off Victoria Street.
At 9:00 am, we will begin with a group prayer. Then we will begin the Marathon! Walking and bike paths circle around Bennett Lake (approximately 1.2 miles around) and there will be Knights of Columbus volunteers stationed sporadically. The Marathon will go from 9 am to 12pm, and students are welcome to do as many laps as they please. Parents are responsible for supervising their children at this event.
The Knights of Columbus will provide free pigs in a blanket, hot dogs, hot cocoa, and other treats at their concessions stand in the Foundations Shelter! We will have bottled water available at our pavilion.
Please know that 100% of the proceeds go directly to Saint John’s School!
Student/Family Goals: Each family is expected to participate by raising (at a minimum) the family goals below:
