I want to thank all families and friends who participated in last Friday's tuition raffle; we sold more than 200 tickets!! Congratulations to Anna Severson for winning the full tuition for a year!
Auction:
As I mentioned in last Friday's live-stream (which you can still view on Facebook), we have some exciting news about our Fund-A-Need and online auction. We have received promise of a $30,000 match to our Fund-A-Need, which is Tuition Assistance this year, but we need to raise $30,000 before May 10th in order to receive this very generous donation. So visit our auction website today; click HERE to kick off our Fund-A-Need with a bang.
Mother's Day, May 10, 2020:
Mark your calendars for Mother’s Day, May 10th, beginning at 9:00 a.m.: We are opening up bidding on our online auction, which includes all of the items from both our live and silent auctions. You can register and start peeking in at the auction tables today. Click HERE.
Staff May Day ... No-Class Friday:
Following the Governor's recommendation, the teachers and I will be in staff development this Friday (May 1, 2020); as such, there will be no remote learning for students. The Archdiocese recommends that Catholic elementary schools consider selecting a date between May 22 and May 29, to end “distance learning” for the 2019-2020 academic year. We will be making a decision at our May 1 staff meeting, and will share updates shortly thereafter.
Eagle Club:
We are moving forward with Eagle Club! Please sign up here today. If you have any questions, please contact Mrs. Kurschner.
School Meals:
Roseville continues to provide breakfast and lunch to students at three pick-up sites and distributed at numerous locations throughout the district on our largest-volume bus routes. They are providing meals at no cost to all children 18 and younger: Meals can be picked up curbside between 10:30 a.m. and 12:30 p.m. at these three school locations:
- Brimhall Elementary, 1744 County Road B West, Roseville, MN 55113
- Little Canada Elementary, 400 Eli Road, Little Canada, MN 55117
- Central Park Elementary, 535 County Road B2 West, Roseville, MN 55113
Together we will get through this challenging time. Our staff, students and parents are working very hard to meet the expectations for remote learning, and while it can be challenging, we are all making the best of this unprecedented time.
Remember: Tell a friend about Saint John’s School! We are open for enrollment (we even had two tours today)!
