When we left Saint John’s on March 9^th, none of us expected that we would not return for this long. As COVID 19 has progressed, our Governor continues to provide guidance and expectations for our school and community which we respect and are presently following. Please know that I am praying for families and staff each day.   

I hope you are doing well and adjusting to the unique times we are all experiencing. I want to thank you for your patience and perseverance as we work to ensure students remain engaged in learning while finding balance for families during these difficult times. We recognize the challenges that come with such a disruption to normal family routines. Please know that Saint John’s staff are working tirelessly to ensure students are supported, and we’re planning as much as possible considering the uncertain conditions.  

We are currently working on plans for the following:

• Students and staff to pick up necessary personal items from the school each day in a safe manner, consistent with the shelter at home policies.
• Deep cleaning our school.
• Safety procedures for our staff and students when we return to school.
• Protocols for ongoing monitoring and safety plans as we resume normal school activities.

Don't forget to purchase your Boots & Bling raffle tickets! We will host our live-streamed drawing at 8:00 PM  this Friday, April 24. Tune in to find out who wins, and even more details about out upcoming online auction, which kicks off on  Mother's Day, May 10.

• Raffle tickets are still available for purchase here. Prize is full tuition for the 2020-2021 school year (just $25/each)!
• Donation Drop-off Day: We're also selling tickets from 9:00 AM to Noon Friday, April 24, in the Gathering Space, provided we maintain safe social distancing practices of fewer than 10 people at a time. You can also drop off donations for the online auction at this time!

Are you Ready for Summer Eagle Club?

We need to get a sense of anyone interested in Summer Eagle Club. This is not a commitment, rather just a statement of interest; email me or Trisha Kurschner by May 15. We will need to make hard decisions on staffing based on interest levels, so please email today.

I will continue to communicate through Facebook, website and email and encourage you to remain engaged with your children’s teachers for ongoing updates.  

As we progress, I look forward to working with you while we all strive to embrace the challenges and turn them into opportunities for partnership and growth.
