Coronavirus Message from the Archdiocese

Dear Saint John Families,

As you may have heard on the news, Gov. Tim Walz signed an Executive Order on July 22 requiring face covering in private and public indoor spaces. Saint John’s is working to better understand the specific application of the Executive Order for our school. Please watch for additional communication on how this will be included in our School’s COVID-19 Preparedness and Mitigation Plan and our school’s Pandemic Preparedness and Readiness Plan (PPRP). We look forward to welcoming your family back to school and starting together an adventurous school year.

Affirming our shared goal of providing in-person learning, this letter reviews some of the important steps that all of our Catholic schools and families will be taking to provide children with a Catholic education in the best possible, and safest, way that we can. • Our Pandemic Preparedness and Response Planning Committee is hard at work completing sifting through the Archdiocesan protocols and crafting a comprehensive plan specific to Saint John's. You will see more on the results, beginning in August.

• Summer Faith Camps: Director of Faith Formation Joe Block has created some "itty-bitty" outdoor Faith Camps during the month of August that meet all socially safe requirements ... and bring a bit of normalcy back to our kids' calendars. Learn more here.
• Back-to-School Night: Socially safe the week of August 31
• Do not forget to Save the Date: Noon Saturday, Sept. 26, School Marathon
• Order your Saint John's school uniforms through Revolution Sports and Donald's; we're working currently with another vendor as well.
