Students will receive a free Homework pass if a parent, grandparent, neighbor, friend or relative purchases a ticket. Anyone can gift their win to a lucky student!
It was great to put signs in the yards of our 8th grade students with Mrs. Leciejewski! It is a small way we can celebrate the soaring they are doing in their final trimester as an Eagle. Celebrating successful students is one of the reasons I love education!
Principal Hurley offers important updates on this week's live-streamed auction raffle, as well as summer Eagle Club. When we left Saint John’s on March 9th, none of us expected that we would not return for this long. As COVID-19 has progressed, our Governor continues to provide guidance and expectations for our school and community which we respect and are presently following. Please know that I am praying for families and staff each day.
Boots & Bling goes completely digital, with a live-streamed raffle drawing on April 24, and online bidding beginning at 9:00 AM Mother's Day and running through Saturday, May 16. Be sure to support our most important fundraiser!
Thank you, Saint John's families, for supporting your children during this unique time in our lives. I understand that we are all figuring out the demands of working from home, maintaining a household and supporting our children in their learning.
Please know that the staff at Saint John's is praying with you during this Holy Week. Our hope is that we are all able to take a step back and enter into the graces which God offers during this most holy of seasons.
This Friday is our Spirit Wear Day; send videos or pictures of the kids in Spirit Wear to be eligible for a $10 gift card! Plus: Next week we'll host our first Drop-Everything-And-Read day, to help give some more time for one-on-one interaction, catch-up on assignments and, of course, more reading!
