Welcome!
I am so blessed to be a part of Saint John's School of Little Canada. I look forward to coming to work every day to work with the students and staff. We want to provide students with a safe, caring and wonderful place to learn.
Professional Background:
I attended the University of St. Thomas for my undergraduate work in elementary education. I taught in St. Paul for a year, then my husband was transferred to New York for work. While in New York, I earned a master's degree in Reading and Special Education from Dowling College. I also obtained my math license. I taught Middle School Math in Massapequa, New York. I have been at Saint John's School of Little Canada since 2015. While working here, I earned my Technology Integration Certification from Saint Catherine’s University.
I enjoy watching my children in their sport events, playing cello and other activities. We like to go skiing as a family. I also enjoy reading and knitting.
Educational Philosophy:
I want to make sure that I know my students and where they are at in their learning. It is my job to help them go as far as they can and be successful in the classroom, as well as outside of the classroom. We are always learning and must be able to navigate the world around us.
