Welcome to Saint John Preschool! My name is Mrs. Cook. We have an exciting program that focuses on the whole child, with an inviting array of activies and academic learning.

Professional Education:
This is my 23rd year teaching preschool at Saint John's School. I have been teaching for 40 years. I have a bachelor's degree in Elementary Education from St. Cloud State University. Through the years, I have taught first grade at three different Catholic schools, one in Minnesota and the other two in Southern California. I lived in California with my husband, of now 30-plus years, while he was on active duty as a Marine Corps Officer. We have two adult children, Matt and Maria. I enjoy traveling, gardening, attending sporting events, and taking long walks with our dog, Murphy. 

Education Philosophy:
I am excited you chose Saint John's Preschool. Your child will feel welcome, and experience the security of the caring and loving atmosphere provided here. Saint John's is a community of dedicated teachers and staff that care about each child. (I know, because both of my children attended here and received an outstanding education!)
